A must have for any cnc machinist. I use it everyday and wish i would have gotten one sooner. It has a lot of functions but once you learn how to use them it becomes much more than just a calculator.

I had the chance to handle one of these at IMTS 2014 on Tues. It is still my favorite calculator. I am currently using the machinist calc pro and I can't wait to get a pro2.

Great Calculator. This is a must have for anyone who works in a machine shop. I love it. It takes a few minutes to get use to but the more you use it the easier it is. I really enjoy the ease that it makes things in the shop..

It just does what it is supposed to do and that's all.. I am impressed with the amount of data it has stored. Easier for me to see than the fine print in the book and I can carry it in my apron pocket.

I'm really impressed with this gadget. It has lots of useful formulas and functions, and considerable stored data that's quite easily retrieved.

It appears to be rather substantial, with a good protective case including full-face cover plate.

My only (slight) criticism is that the labels for the secondary functions (above the function keys) are quite small, challenging my poor eyesight.

One minor correction to the specs... It requires TWO 2025 batteries, not one. Since they probably last a long time, it hardly matters.

I certainly recommend this to others, and would buy it again as a gift when appropriate.

I Originally owned the Machinist pro Calc 1. Let me tell you, I was traumatized when I accidentally dumped a bottle of acetone on it and destroyed it. Of course, I replaced it with the Machinist Pro Calc 2. I love this model even more!. With features like the BIGGER screen and quicker access to SFM,IPT,IPM functions. This calculator is one of the most important tools in my tool box! I highly recommend that all machinists and engineers be equipped with the Machinist Calc Pro 2!
