I have a radio shack that does the same thing only quicker and less key strokes and the display is much bigger.
still not all that bad..

Workers of the sheet metal.
This model 4400 the calculated industries, answers very well my waits.
He allows the drawing by the trigonometry, the resolution of the right-angled triangle,
the conversions and the very practical height of the other functions.
Buy without hesitating.
Thank you, for the fast delivery.

This trades math/conversion calculator rocks! It is exactly what I needed. I'm an apprentice electrician and having the trigonometry functions is invaluable. The ability to do fractions feet and inches and convert to metric is a plus. This is a must own you are in the trades or are in trade school.

I've only scratched the surface of this one, but I already love it. Unlike many other Calculated Industries products, with many highly specialized functions, this is pretty much a standard scientific calculator that has the awesome ability to work directly in different units. It has trig, square, square root, etc. This is what I was looking for.
You can work in US units, like:
decimal yards, feet, inches
feet+fractional inches
fractional inches
Also, others like pounds, kilograms, mm, m, etc.
It has basic dimensional analysis. You don't just plug numbers in and hit a conversion key, it actually keeps track (to a point) of the units for you. For example, 25.4mm and 1 inch are basically the same thing. I can enter 25.4mm times 8 feet, and get a result in square feet - it's smart enough to know what you mean. It does not appear to let you mix units, like lb-ft, for example.
It comes in a hard removable case, and has a well written instruction booklet that fits into a slot in the back.
