 ## Calculated Industries

This powerful calculator helps tradesmen on the job whenever they need to use or calculate dimensional math, fractions (ruler, proper, improper, and mixed), unit conversions, ratios and proportions, trigonometry/trig and plane geometry (right triangles/angles, circular and polygonal shapes). In addition, this trades math/conversion calculator has a wide range of powerful math functions, including the ability to enter math equations using order of operations. And you can work with exponents, square roots, reciprocals and more.

• Right Triangle Math: Enter and calculate Angle, Hypotenuse, Opposite and Adjacent side lengths
• Trigonometric Functions: Solve angle and side problems using Sine, Cosine, Tangent, Arcsine, Arccosine, Arctangent
• Circle/Arc: Enter and calculate area, circumference, radius, diameter, Arc Angle, Arc Length, Chord Length, Arc Height
• Ratios and Proportions: Find x, y values, calculate proportional values
• Hexagon/Polygon: Find Exterior Angle, Interior Angle, Side Length, Outside Diameter, Inside Diameter, Perimeter and Area
• Work in Architectural (ruler) fractions (1/4 inch, 1/16 inch, etc.), proper fractions (2/3), mixed number fractions (1 2/3) and improper fractions (5/3)
• Solve dimensional math problems, and convert between U.S. and metric dimensional math units

## Powerful and Easy to Use Trades Math/Conversion Calculator

Versatile and easy-to-use, the Tradesman Calc handheld calculator from Calculated Industries (model 4400) will help you solve all kinds of math and geometry/trigonometry problems. The Tradesman Calc is designed to be useful for both teaching technical trade math and for using on the job in a variety of settings requiring technical math, including Welding, Metal Fabrication, Engineering, Automotive Service Technology, Aviation and Drafting. Workers of the sheet metal.
This model 4400 the calculated industries, answers very well my waits.
He allows the drawing by the trigonometry, the resolution of the right-angled triangle,
the conversions and the very practical height of the other functions.
Thank you, for the fast delivery.

This trades math/conversion calculator rocks! It is exactly what I needed. I'm an apprentice electrician and having the trigonometry functions is invaluable. The ability to do fractions feet and inches and convert to metric is a plus. This is a must own you are in the trades or are in trade school.

I've only scratched the surface of this one, but I already love it. Unlike many other Calculated Industries products, with many highly specialized functions, this is pretty much a standard scientific calculator that has the awesome ability to work directly in different units. It has trig, square, square root, etc. This is what I was looking for.

You can work in US units, like:
decimal yards, feet, inches
feet+fractional inches
fractional inches
Also, others like pounds, kilograms, mm, m, etc.

It has basic dimensional analysis. You don't just plug numbers in and hit a conversion key, it actually keeps track (to a point) of the units for you. For example, 25.4mm and 1 inch are basically the same thing. I can enter 25.4mm times 8 feet, and get a result in square feet - it's smart enough to know what you mean. It does not appear to let you mix units, like lb-ft, for example.

It comes in a hard removable case, and has a well written instruction booklet that fits into a slot in the back.
