Canon's heavy-duty MP25D desktop printing calculator is an indispensable tool for demanding offices, providing a range of functions for quick math calculations and figuring finances. You have two ways to review your calculations, the large display or the two-color printout. A 12-character display and special function keys will also increase your accuracy.

The Canon MP25D calculator's function keys include markup/markdown, delta percent, grand total, multiple decimal point positions, item count, and non-add print. The numeral keys are large and easy to read, and you can keep running totals as you enter data. Use the rounding function to automatically round your results up, down, or off by a specified number of digits. Calculate taxes with a prestored tax rate. The MP25D provides all the basics of calculation: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, constant multiplication, division and percentage calculations, percentage add-on, and discount calculations.

A two-color printer produces crisp characters, with negative numbers appearing in red and positive in black. The Canon MP25D printing calculator is designed to print on standard 2-1/4-inch rolls of plain paper at 3.6 lines per second. You can switch printing off to conserve ink.

Worked well for the first two months. Now it freezes up and will not take an entries when the keys are pressed. After sitting or turning off and on it resets itself. Unplugging resets it also - but who wants to crawl behind the desk to do this?

At first I really liked this calculator. But after a couple of months, some of the buttons are sticking. When one gets stuck, you can't go on until you unstick it. I use this in my business and the sticking buttons can get frustrating.

I use an adding machine all day every day. I've been using Canon calculators for a long time and the MP25DV has not disappointed me. The keys are laid out in a logical order (seems silly to say that but many adding machines are not) display is bright even in a light polluted office. Paper feed works great and has been jam free, also it is a breeze to load another roll on. This unit also has a "cheat sheet" in the front drawer, I'm sure that is a good feature for those who are just getting used to using and adding machine

This is the favorite calculator in our office. I do find that it is not up to a high volume usage. I have had ones stop working properly in a few months. It is great if you don't have to crunch a lot of numbers.
