good as long as you don't run out of ink. love the size, but can't get the roller refills cp-16 or cp-16 II. Also only 1 color ink, no red for subtractions. Other than that, I think it is okay for mobile or home use.

So far, I love this little bad boy. Wasn't the easiest to find but this is the SMALLEST 2-color printing calculator. Get it while you can as the "upgraded" newer model is twice as much and prints in one color only. Feedback: Yes, getting the paper to feed on first use sucks. No way around that fact. I did take a tip from another user and cut the corners off the end of the roll to make a v-shape. Make sure the cover is OFF so you can help maneuver with your fingers. Those 2 tips pretty much solve the problem instantly. Got one day prime shipping for tax time which I needed! Definitely order paper; the diameter of the roll that comes with is less than 1". Saved the day as I didn't want a bulky "adding machine" on my desk! Has some cool tax rate and margin functions that I found easy to use. Fixed decimal setting also easy.

Bought the Canon Palm Printing Calculator because my old Royal printing calculator began having issues. The Canon takes up less space on my desk, prints more clearly, prints two color (v. single color), and offers a few more features than my old Royal. However, its print engine is slower and the additional features (e.g., calculating hours) are not useful for me. My main complaint is that it prints a number in red if the following number is being subtracted from it. In mathematical terms, the minuend is printed in red and the subtrahend is printed in black, which is just the opposite of what I expected. (I did confirm that negative numbers are printed in red.) Another complaint Is that the LCD display has a high viewing angle. I have to bring the calculator close to the edge of the desk and sit up straight to see the numbers. All in all, a good calculator but not great.
