Casio FX-300MS Calculator Features 229 Functions from Math to Algebraic Formulas
Always powered up, it's just as useful in a household or office for all your calculating needs, from finances to converting cooking measurements, and for anything else you can think of when you wish you had a calculator at hand. The large, readable two-line display exhibits 10 digits, shows the problem as you write it, and then shows the answer alongside, permitting better tracking of your equation-solving process.
With the Casio FX-300MS scientific calculator, if you make an input error, you can quickly clear it with the backspace key. Tap the auto replay function to check your last equation. You can also use 229 built-in mathematics functions, enter fractions, raise y to the x power, figure standard deviations, process degree/radian/grad conversions, calculate sine, cosine, tangent, and inverse, and compute permutations and combinations. Plus, call upon the FX-300MS calculator basic scientific, exponential, and trigonometric functions for everything you need to complete your assignments and lab work. Key in and program formulas to save for future uses.
The FX-300MS calculator provides one independent and six constant memory keys. It has an efficient key layout, making this an easy-to-use basic scientific calculator, offering all the functions you'll need in a solidly constructed unit. Can't beat the price for a great scientific calculator. I bought this casio fx-300ms calculator mainly for the Log function. I've had no problems with it. It's just very dependable. The protector shield slides off, and you can slide it underneath the calculator, or you can just leave the shield off completely.

I have this and a Texas Instruments Texas Instruments TI-30X IIS 2-Line Scientific Calculator, Black with Blue Accents. I'm finally throwing out the Texas Instuments' calculator and buying a second of these because (1) I'm often doing sequential problems, and this one keeps the answer to the previous formula in the upper bar while you type the next one, and (2) the other calculator's keys are stiff, and I often have missed digits when I'm trying to do problems on it.

I bought one of these as a poor PhD student and used it all the way through graduate school. Used it periodically at my first job out of school when I am too lazy to open up statistics software for some simple calculations. Recently I need another one for my new job and thought I lost my old calculator and just ordered a new one from Amazon. Well the next day I found my old one and it's still going strong after 10 years (I think the price hasn't changed since 10 years ago), but I decide to keep the new one so I can have one at home when I work remotely. This one has comfortable big keys and beats the calculator on the computer or online any day. Would recommend to anyone who needs a reliable and everyday scientific calculator.

My spouse and grown kids are constantly using my calculator. So I bought five of them and put on every table in our house. Actually very good piece with a lot of functions and very inexpensive.

Bought the calculators for my classroom. They work great and does all the calculations for Algebra, Geomtry, and Algebra 2. A must for any high school math class.
