This is a good starter graphing calculator for the price. I picked it up for use in my calculus 2 course (integral calculus) and it has had all the functions I have needed in class. It is programmable, so as such, instructors might not allow it on tests...check with your professor first!
Like any unit of its type, it will take some time to get used to the menu hierarchy; and be aware that the manual is written for a group of graphing calculator models-so procedures described within the manual might be slightly different from how they are performed on this particular model.
That said, I like this model and would certainly recommend it to others.

This is a really bad graphing calculator for your money. I ordered it to replace my "old"version of this same calculator and it turns out this is even more ancient. The screen is literally like one pixel and I can't see anything
