This calculator was purchased to replace one that I had for over 20 years. I use this calculator every day for both my real estate appraisal business and for personal and community group activities. The financial functions make it easy and quick to check present worth, discounted value, payments, interest and discount rates, and periods of terms for loans, payment plans and a wide variety of financial problems. While I have tried other financial calculators, the HP 12C Platinum calculator has proven to be superior and easier to use than all of its competitors.
