This is really the best TI-89 calculator I have ever owned. I love everything about. You can even download apps to help you with certain school subjects. I personally found the study card app helpful and some other apps sold by 3rd party vendors to help solve, and explain difficult math problems. This is the best non-colored screen calculator. This is important because if you have a calculator with a bright colored screen, you might get a lot of negative attention from teachers thinking you have an advantage and they wont allow you to use it.

This calculator is very nice. I reccomend this a lot when you have to buy the calculator. This has all the funny and exciting functions and options we can press advantage. Differently from others, this can be used for calculus and other mathmtical subjects. I haven't used this a lot yet, but I am expecting them a lot 🙂 Untill now, I've used this for lots of calculations and graphing something! I really recommend you this a lot..Oh, in addition, when you divide something by something, the answer does not come up with decimals, but with fractions. This is very useful when you are middle of process!

My family has been through a few of these Texas Instruments graphing calculators over the years. Each teacher seems to require a different version! Although we bought the calculators grudgingly, we have always been pleased with their performance. They do exactly what the are supposed to do, with excellent battery life. Each calculator comes with a very detailed manual explaining the calculator's extremely complex functions. We've experienced no issues at all with these calculators. If they will help your child to pass math, they are well worth the price!

Great product, great service. The manager and cashier were super friendly and helpful in ordering my calculator. My calculator is wonderful and i can do so much more with it than any other I've ever had, and now I'm passing my pre-calculus class.

I am currently an Engineering student and bought his to replace my TI-84. After getting used to the button and interface, I wouldn't go back to the TI-84 if you paid. I absolutely love this TI-89 calculator. The fact I can quickly and easily scroll up and pull down past calculations and use the result in future calculations is terrific and time-saving. Writing applications on my computer and transferring them is simple and easy--I've found that I do this a lot, now. Saves time when computing redundant calculations on exams.
The only negative I can think to mention is that TI could have done a better job alerting the user about the battery getting low. I use the calculator a lot--at least a few hours each day--and when it dies it simply shuts off. In each instance I have been given zero warning, the screen just suddenly went blank. If you rely on this calculator keep a spare set of batteries in your bag at all times.

Greatest Graphing Calculator with The Worst Display. The Display on this (TI 89) Is the worst I have ever seen. For me it is extremely difficult to see the display. I also have a TI 84 and a TI 36 so I am not picking on TI, I love all three but I often use the other calculators when I want to use the 89 because of the display. They could use this at the DMV for vision tests.
